TUV

TÜV, short for Technischer Überwachungsverein (German for Technical Inspection Association), represents a network of independent organizations that offer testing, inspection, certification, and quality assurance services across multiple industries worldwide. These organizations were originally founded in Germany but have expanded globally and are recognized for their expertise in assessing compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

EN1176 is a safety standard that specifically focuses on playground equipment. It outlines detailed requirements for the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of playgrounds, emphasizing safety considerations to prevent accidents and injuries.

EN15312 is a safety standard for multi-sports equipment and facilities. It encompasses various aspects such as design, functionality, durability, and safety features, aiming to provide a safe environment for multi-sports activities.

All HAGS playground products are certified to the German-based TUV standard EN 1176. All fitness products are certified to EN 15312.

CSA is responsible for developing standards and certification programs in Canada. Similar to ASTM, CSA standards for playground equipment focus on safety, durability, and performance, ensuring that equipment meets rigorous criteria for use in Canadian settings.
