Our sustainability principles stem from our long-held belief in integrating nature and the great outdoors with everyday life. Our products are designed to last for many years and are easy to maintain, so you have less need to replace equipment in your outdoor area.

Materials
We see it as a matter of importance to use materials that both give a smaller climate footprint but also make it easier for customers to choose more sustainable options.
Grounded in Nordic design, we use environmentally friendly materials, such as wood and wood-based components, steel, and plastic-based components only where comfort or safety is required (such as swing seats, or as fall protection plates).
The Pine timber we use are sourced from responsibly managed Scandinavian forests and holds FSC or PEFC certification. These forests promote slow growth resulting in a compact quality. Additionally, our wood stain coating provides protection against mold and rot infestations.
While Wood stands as one of the foremost renewable materials for our products, Steel emerges as a recyclable solution.Today we use 82 % recycled steel in our products. The benefit of steel is its durability and that it’s a long-lasting material.
In many of our play product we use a material called HPL. HPL are made of 70% cellulose and 30% resins. The material consists of natural cellulose and resins and can therefore be disposed of easily and its very sturdy and that it’s a long-lasting material.

Flexible & modular design
With flexible and/or modular design, you can easily source the sorting of different components at the end of their life and simply replace a component instead of buying a brand new product.
Our play systems Uniplay and UniMini are completely modular and the components can be easily taken apart and recycled. It is also easy to move and/or replace parts that have been used a little more, so that the life of the play structure is extended for even more years.
In this way, the need for newly produced, as well as new/virgin material, is reduced.
